Mercedes-Benz UK has officially released the pricing information for the just launched 2014 S63 AMG.
The S63 AMG comes with a starting price of 119,565 GBP and this price can further go up by 2,760 GBP if you decide to go for the Driver’s Package which will remove the top speed limiter and enable the high-performance four-door executive saloon to achieve the top speed of 186 mph (300 kmph) against 155 mph (250 kmph) in the standard model.
There are other options as well. For instance if you wish to spend extra 5,000 GBP, you will receive an AMG Exterior Carbon Package, while for additional 7,090 GBP the S63 AMG can be equipped with an AMG high-performance ceramic composite braking system.
The current range-topping S-Class variant comes fitted with a 5.5-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that can generate an output of 585 hp (436 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. It enables the model to achieve the 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) sprint in mere 4.4 seconds. In terms of features, the model rides on 19-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels and comes as standard with a panoramic sunroof, Burmester audio system, tire pressure monitoring system and ambient lighting.
The S63 AMG is scheduled to reach the dealerships in the UK around November this year.
