2015 Ford Mustang front fascia exposed in up-close spy pic

by SpeedLux

One of the auto magazines has managed to obtain spy pictures of the next-gen Mustang’s front fascia.

Scheduled to go on sale in April next year to celebrate the pony car’s 50th anniversary, the all-new Mustang can be seen in this image showing its front fascia. As some reports previously stated, the new Mustang will draw its inspiration in terms of styling from the Evos concept. If we compare to the current generation model, the new car’s front end will be rounder and will pack a pair of aggressive-looking headlights to show the new Mustang means business.

There are reports as well that hint the sixth-gen Mustang will be lighter by a minimum of 400 lbs (181 kg) mainly due to a new platform called S550 and will be offered in Europe with several four- and six-cylinder engines from the company’s well-known EcoBoost family. The four-cylinder is expected to generate an output of around 300 hp (224 kW), while the U.S.-spec model come equipped with a larger V8 5.0-liter.

As of now the details are limited and we expect more details and probably even spy images to be out in the future till the final unveiling of the model takes place.
