2015 Ford Mustang gets rendered in 3D

by SpeedLux

The 2015 Ford Mustang is very near to the production phase and Charles Cronley has now made some renderings of what the model will look like according to him.

Cronley has gathered some insider information and also made use of spy photos, with the help of which he has made a 3D animation that indicates the car will have an evolutionary design with a more aggressive front fascia. The model also abstains from the hockey stick line that has been a hallmark of the existing model.

Cronley himself acknowledges that the rendering is not perfect citing the reason that the rear quarter windows may need some adjustment and there are reports that are stating that Ford is still in the process of making some minor changes to the model.

Regardless of what the model will look like, it is expected to be lighter by at least 400 lbs (181 kg) less as compared to its predecessor. It will be offered with a variety of different engines including a 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost outputting 350 hp (261 kW) and a 5.0-liter V8 mill with around 450 hp (335 kW). There are rumors of an entry-level V6 and range-topping Shelby GT350 with output of substantially more than 450 hp (335 kW).
