Audi set to unwrap 7 models of the A1 Hatchback at the 2010 Worthersee Tour

by Ron Grant

Audi announced that they will be unveiling 7 versions of the A1 Hatchback during the upcoming Worthersee Tour from May 12 to 15 that will be held in Reifnitz, Austria. They will also showcase the Samoa Orange Metallic Audi R8 GT, the next gen RS 5, and the R8 V10 Spyder.

One version of the Audi A1 will be in honor of the football team FC Bayern that will be fitted with a 1.4 TFSI powerplant and special finishing plus some adhesive films. This A1 will don the Number 10 of football star Arjen Robben of the FC Bayern on its doors and roof.

The Competition kit version of the A1 is inspired by the rally cars of the brand back in the 1980s. This one has the Amalfi White finish highlighted by the Urquattro colors of Stone Gray, Begonia Red, and Gray Brown. The interior reflects memories of the racing triumphs achieved because of the quattro technology.

The Audi A1 will also have a Follow Me model that comes in Citrus Yellow with a checkerboard pattern in black. You will pretty much recognize it as the ground control units of airports.

The Hot Rod evokes an aggressive speedster stance with a lowered ride height and matte-finish. This one rolls on steel wheels hugged by tires with white walls. This A1 definitely following the classic style for hot rods.

The design team of Audi also pays tribute to sticker collectors at tolls and the water rescue unit through their Pickerljager version and the Wasserwacht model, respectively.

The other special edition Audi A1 hatchback has a purple tone skin and described as the Fashion special edition.
