Five people died in a two-car crash that took place on early Sunday morning in West Boca Raton, Florida.

An 18-year-old driver from Deerfield Beach and two of his 13-year-old passengers were one of the five individuals who died in the crash.

Five others who are all children between the ages of 12 and 14 are either Boca Raton or Delray Beach, were seriously injured.

Two adults in a Mercedes Benz died as well.

A 2013 Hyundai Genesis was speeding eastbound on Camino Real when the driver seemed to have lost control of the vehicle at 12:35 a.m. near the intersection of Sanibel Drive.

The Hyundai spun out of control and entered the median, struck into a concrete light pole, and began rolling. The car then entered the westbound lanes of Camino Real and landed upside down on a 2014 Mercedes C250 that was moving west on Camino Real.

All six passengers in the back seat of the Hyundai were ejected from the vehicle on impact.

The driver of the Hyundai, 18-year-old Ramiro Gomez, and two 13-year-olds, Brielle Snowden and Sebastian Rivas, were declared dead at the scene.

The 58-year-old driver of the Mercedes and his 55-year-old passenger were admitted to Delray Medical Center, where they succumbed to their injuries. Their identities are yet to be revealed.

Mourners gathered at the site of the car crash on Sunday afternoon and evening.
