Two killed and one injured after car crashes into home in Needham

Two women were killed in a car crash on Central Avenue in Needham, Massachusetts on Wednesday after the car crashed into a house.

The crash took place when a 2009 BMW that was traveling down North Hill Avenue when it crossed Central Avenue and slammed into a house located at 860 Central Avenue at about 10:20 a.m.

The two women, who were passengers in the car, were admitted to the hospital they succumbed to their injuries.

The identities of the victims have been released as Ann Segal, 89, and Claire Van Ummersen, 86, both of Needham.

An 89-year-old Needham man who was driving the car was admitted to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

No charges were filed against anybody as of now.
