Two people were killed and another two were injured after a car crash in North Fort Myers, Florida on Friday.
The crash took place just after 6:30 p.m. on US-41 at Sabal Springs Boulevard.
A 68-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man, both of North Fort Myers, were pronounced dead in the crash.
Both were passengers in a vehicle driven by a 67-year-old man.
The crash took place when their vehicle turned left onto Sabal Springs Boulevard but couldn’t yield right away to an SUV resulting in a crash.
A 89-year-old woman in the vehicle had serious injuries.
The driver in the SUV, a 74-year-old woman, had minor injuries.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
