Mercedes-Benz the German manufacturer currently division of parent company, Daimler AG which is previously being owned by Daimler-Benz its origins in Karl Benz’s and the creation of first petrol powered car. Mercedes first marketed in 1901.It was introduced by many innovative and technologically safe technologies which were later on introduced in many other luxury vehicles. In quality ranking Mercedes –Benz had mentioned his reputation for quality and durability. Mercedes shows dramatic improvement from 25th to 5th place, surpassing the quality leader Toyota, and earning many awards for its models. In 2008, Mercedes-Benz’s quality rating is improved which is yet another mark also received Platinum Plant Quality Award for Mercedes Sindelfingen, Germany assembly plant. In 2009, Consumer Reports in United States has changed the reliability ratings for many Mercedes-Benz vehicles to average and as recommending the E-Class and the S-Class.

In fuel economy Mercedes-Benz assessed  record US$30.66 million by their decision not to meet the federal corporate average fuel economy standard Certain Mercedes-Benz vehicles’ including S550, and AMG sold in the United States face additional gas guzzler tax. He said “From today’s perspective, assuming there is no further downturn of world economy, we expect Mercedes-Benz Cars achieve its targeted return on sales of ten per cent in second half of 2012 and maintain it as of full-year 2013.”
