Two were killed and two others were hospitalized on Saturday after a horrific single-car crash in the Bronx.
The crash took place when the four were traveling in an SUV along the Cross Bronx Expressway service road in Parkchester at 12 a.m. when their car struck into the back of a tow truck left parked and unoccupied on the side of the road.
The 33-year-old woman driving was admitted to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The 47-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The teenage girl and a 32-year-old woman who were passengers in the back seat were admitted to St. Barnabas Hospital.
Their condition is stable.
The identities of the victims are yet to be released.
