Aston Martin on Wednesday named former Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa as its new CEO as the British luxury automaker works on emulating the Italian automaker’s success and focusing on electrification.
Felisa will take over with immediate effect from Tobias Moers, who joined the automaker in 2020 from shareholder Mercedes-Benz‘s high-performance AMG brand and served as CEO and chief technical officer.
Felisa presently serves on Aston Martin’s board and he headed Ferrari between 2008 and 2016 when it belonged to the Fiat.
Felisa was serving as a special adviser to Silk-FAW in recent times.
Aston Martin also named former Ferrari and BMW executive Roberto Fedeli as its chief technical officer.
