Two killed after two-vehicle crash in Walker County

Two people were killed after a two-vehicle crash in Walker County, Alabama on May 4.

The crash took place when Michael B. McCaleb, 68, with SUV was struck by a person driving a tractor-trailer. McCaleb died at the scene, according to Troopers.

McCaleb died due to the crash.

The truck driver, a 32-year-old identified as Cody D. Taylor of Purdy succumbed to his injuries at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

The crash took place around 11:00 a.m. on Interstate 22.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division was investigating the crash.
