Two men were killed after a car crash involving four vehicles in Douglas County, Colorado on Wednesday evening.

The driver, a 34-year-old identified as Adam Reihl, and his passenger, a 49-year-old identified as Michael Reed, both from Parker, were killed in the crash.

Officials responded to the crash around 5:28 p.m.

Crowfoot Valley Road was closed for about five hours due to the crash.

The crash took place when Reihl crossed over from the northbound lanes into the southbound lanes and hit the side of one car and before crashing into another.

Officials believe speed and bad tires may have played a role in crash.
