Ferrari store at the Nürburgring CircuitLast week Aston Martin opened their first merchandise store at the Nürburgring circuit.

On the same day Ferrari opened their merchandise store there as well. It is the first Ferrari store in Germany joining their other retail locations around the world.

Currently Ferrari has merchandise stores in Milan, Rome, Venice, London, Barcelona, San Francisco, Miami, Macao, and Abu Dhabi.

Opening ceremony in Germany was performed by Ferrari drivers Felipe Massa and Kimi Räikkönen, who had already been out on the track in the run-up to Sunday’s Grand Prix.

The 240 square meter store is spread over a single track-level floor and was developed by Italian architecture and design firm, Studio Iosa Ghini.

Ferrari plans to turn the Nürburgring complex into an all-year round leisure and business center. With this in mind, major new structures are being added, including the shopping center housing the Ferrari Store, an events center, a conference center and hotels.

Within the next three year Ferrari plans to open more than 40 stores in Europe, America, and the Middle and Far East.
