Porsche might have a model that will fit in between the 911 and 918

by Alex

Porsche automobiles has been, at all times and on every occasion, a hot topic of rumor and a matter of speculation for car fans. The German automaker at this time manufactures the Cayman, the Cayenne, Boxster, a million different 911 models, and the Panamera. In the near future you may anticipate seeing a small-scale variant of the Cayenne. It will be known as the Cajun. It is believed the new variant should sell reasonably advantageously in New Orleans. At the same time we are also expecting launch of the 918 Spyder.

If you are thinking that with all these models Porsche is not likely to come out with new models set for quite some time, well, that does not seem to be the case with the Porsche chief Matthias Muller. In agreement with or accordant with his opinion the automaker still finds the scope between the 911 and the 918.

Everyone is showing curiosity if this high-end sports car would share the same platform as the 918 or if it will get a new fancy hybrid motor. However, it is believed that a normal flat-six is planned for the vehicle.

Despite the disapproval readily observable from Porsche enthusiasts Porsche’ s sudden and severe onset on the marketplace seems to have worked fairly well. Both, Cayenne and Panamera is selling well. To whatever degree or extent, for the automaker it is still not adequately good as it expects to sell over 150,000 vehicles every year. The sales target is twice the number of cars it had sold last year. Yet we are not very confident if the sales of the high-end sports car are likely to double on account of the fact that not many or only a select few can truly afford a 911.
