Toyota Prius gets tuning package!

If you want to make your Prius look cooler than gasoline driven cars, you can do that by buying the Toyota Prius Plus Performance Package. The aerodynamic package developed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD) offers cool accessories that will increase the looks and the handling. The package will give its owner an all new body kit with a redesigned rear diffuser, without losing the drag coefficient: still 0.25.

The kit also offers new front and rear bumpers, new side sills and new 17-inch forged wheels wrapped in low profile tires that increase track width but still maintain the rolling resistance.

The new springs and the new rear sway bar provide a much more better handling for the car, which will now have a better cornering ability. The new accessories will be available from April 2011.
