Jaguar XKR-S: here is what the Convertible version might look like

by Alex

Influenced by recent reports from the British media, Carscoop reader L il-k Amaru went back to his virtual drawing board stuffs again and came up with a photograph of a convertible version of the hardcore Jaguar XKR-S that was unveiled in coupe format this March 2011 at the Geneva Auto Show.

If the rumors doing the rounds about the XKR-S Convertible are to be believed, then the open top model will have the same style and performance modifications which are the signature of the coupe.

Thus it indicates styling upgrades of really aggressive nature such as the vented front and rear bumpers, side skirts and big rear spoiler. There will also be a boosted 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine with a max power rating of 550 hp and 680 Nm or 501 lb-ft of peak torque. Then the convertible version is also likely to sport a revised and lowered sports suspension along with of course an enhanced braking system.
