Official: Final U.S. Pricing Announced For 2012 Nissan Versa

According to Nissan, the second generation of its Versa sedan features “the lowest MSRP in America” at $10,990 (not including a destination fee), with the sub note that the company’s aforementioned assessment is based on “MY12 competitors at time of print”. Nissan Versa, sedan, which is available in three models (1.6 S, 1.6 SV and 1.6 SL), will be on sale in the American market in August.

Thi new model was introduced to America at the New York Auto Show this past April and is based on the latest Micra’s platform.

It comes as standard with air conditioning, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, AM/FM/CD/Aux-in audio system and an advanced 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine with dual injector system and twin Continuously Variable Timing Control (CVTC). That engine makes 109 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque, and returns 33 mpg.

Beside this, Nissan offers a host of optional equipment throughout the Versa range, including Bluetooth, XM satellite radio, a touch-screen navigation system and USB input for iPod/MP3 devices.
