1973 Porsche 911 By DP Motorsport: Official Details and Photos

Well you know how I’ve been talking and talking about all these tons of tuners that rush to improve the Porsche cars, especially the 911. As soon as a new generation 911 appears, the tuning kits and programs just blossom like mushrooms after a rain. Not often though, do we find a tuner willing to create a tuning package for a very old version of the 911, like this 1973 Porsche 911 which the German tuner DP Motorsport has taken under its wing. Many might think this would be not only stupid, but crazy as well, but the result that came out of the idea is really amazing. The 1973 Porsche received an impressive body kit, considerable interiour upgrades and a power boost of 310 HP.

The body kit we mentioned is made entirely from carbin and features a new front bumper, hood, lightweight doors, fenders, rear fender flares, rear spoiler and rear bumper. The body kit used for the 1973 Porsche 911 also includes booth hoods that are equipped with quick release fasteners, a set of green-toned Plexiglas windows to replace the standard ones and lightweight lamp lenses in order to save some weight. for the same reason the the carbon roof panel has been manufactured using the sandwich vacuum technique.

It is quite nice what DP Motorsport has done, thumbs up for remembering and for respecting the history.
