The Pagani Zonda F released in 2005 is Pagani’s way of challenging bigger car manufacturers like Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini to a hyper-car battle. With a 7.3L Mercedes Benz AMG 48 V12 engine that delivers 602 horsepower and 760 lb-ft at 4000rpm, the Zonda F is able to reach 214 mph and go from 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds.
The exterior design is ruled by the need to decrease friction with the air with a perfectly aerodynamic shape. Thanks to this shape, the car induces the impression that it is an advanced piece of engineering – at it is fair to say that Pagani really topped their part. This model has more air intake in front, making the cooling system more effective, and the V12 engine enjoys a cooler state. The chassis is upgraded to make it lighter in comparison to other supercars. The ceramic brakes also get more room, since the wheels are smaller. The Zonda F weighs 1,230 kilograms, which is pretty low for a super-car.
The base price is $667,000, a lot lower than other super-cars that reach such speeds as the Zonda F. Although since 2005 when this car was released both Ferrari and Lamborghini released faster and stronger vehicles, the Zonda F still is one of the best super-cars available.
