And today we are talking about the latest variant from Renault! The all new Renault Clio RS 200! Well this is a good news for all Renaultsport fans, because the new fourth-generation Clio RS just got wonderful for them as the car is more focused than its predecessor.
About the car-
The most important change is made to the exterior of the car is that the new Clio RS 200 is a five-door, which is a first. The body is enterprising,and sustainable, and comes with exciting custom colors.
Under the bonnet, a upheaval, has taken place. Renault has replaced the trusted 2-liter four-banger with a new 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that produces the same 200 hp as before.
The 16-valve four-cylinder engine delivers a maximum output of 200 hp at 6,000 rpm and also puts out a very respectable 240 Nm of torque. This is 25 Nm more than the previous 2-liter, which will now offers a smooth and comfortable drive, thanks to the turbocharger the car now goes up at higher revolutions as much as to 5600rpm.
The Clio’s engine is a Variable Valve Timing (VVT) unit, which helps with better fuel economy. Renault says we can expect fuel efficiency to be better by 2 l/100km, which means we can expect 9.2 l/100km.
The increase in the fuel efficiency is due to the new gearbox, which is now a standard EDC(Electronic Damper Control) double-clutch. There is no manual, but you will get it with paddles shifters.
The New Clio Renaultsport 200 Turbo comes with a sport button that will initially change the engine and gearbox mapping, ESC( Electronic Stability Control) settings, steering feeling and throttle pedal response. It works in three modes 1.’Normal’ 2.’Sport’ and 3.’Race’ and gives the new model an attractive, multi-dimensional sporty character.
New Clio Renaultsport 200 Turbo offers two different chassis:
1.First of all a “Sport chassis” for providing a accurate balance of sportiness and comfort drive.
2. And a “Cup chassis” for technical purpose.
