At the SEMA Auto Show, Toyota has organized a ‘Dream Build’ challenge, where everyone saw a Toyota Tundra Pre Runner by Alexis DeJoria, and she is the only women ever to win an NHRA Alcohol Funny Car race, and this competition from Toyota is to make the Tundra a perfect desert race car.
The car features a powerful 5.7-liter TRD-supercharged V8 engine fed by a custom rear-mounted fuel cell, it has got themselves customized long A-arms, trailing arms and the lady has installed a huge 20 inches of wheel front and 24 inches in the rear. Inside, the Pre-Runner is far from a stripped-out desert racer. It has an elaborate leather-wrapped roll cage, racing bucket seats, and a high-powered JBL sound system.
She says, “I wanted to do the best possible off-road vehicle we could,”. She then adds “I think this is going to be the baddest vehicle at SEMA.”
