Ford to Reveal All-New F-150 Pickup in Detroit

Recently Ford announced that they will unveil their 2015 F-150 pickup truck next month at the Detroit auto show, to compete with rival General Motors.

At the Detroit Auto Show, which will be held next month, Ford is all set to reveal their 2015 F-150 pick-up, against of GM’s 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra on the market during the second quarter of 2013.

Reports state that Ford is pushing to boost fuel economy of its new F-150 by 15% to 20% in part by using lighter materials, they are also making sure to clear of an average of 700 to 750 pounds from each vehicle through extensive use of aluminum as well as a redesign of components including brakes and axles.

If I wanted an pickup that looked like a honda civic, I’d probably buy a honda. I hope the production model doesn’t look like that concept art.
