2014 Dodge Durango facelift to enter production

by David Bond

Jeep had few weeks ago introduced the 2014 Grand Cherokee, but there isn’t much news about the facelifted Dodge Durango until now.

A wellknown magazine has quoted what the sources have confirmed that the 2014 Durango will go into production in May before being launched in June. There is every possibility that the upgraded model will debut at the forthcoming New York Auto Show.

Other details are still known about the crossover, but it will likely have new lighting units and a revised tailgate. There is also an updated interior with a digital instrument cluster, a new infotainment system and revised trim.

Engine will remain the same and it will be connected to a new eight-speed automatic transmission for good fuel efficiency.
