General Motors and Nissan have recently signed an agreement that will enable Chevrolet to sell a rebadged version of the NV200 in the United States and Canada.
The 2015 Chevrolet City Express looks pretty identical to its Japanese counterpart but can be distinguished with a revised front fascia that features a prominent bow-tie grille.
Chevy did not reveal much detail about the model but did confirm that it will be able to hold 122.7 cubic feet (3,474 liters) of cargo and would feature rear doors with opening positions of 90 and 180 degrees. The model will also come equipped with features such as fold-down front passenger seat, Bluetooth connectivity and an optional navigation system.
Details are not available about the engine and performance but there are chances that the Chevrolet City Express would come fitted with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine that will be able to generate output of 131 hp (98 kW) and 139 lb-ft (188 Nm) of torque.
The Chevrolet City Express will go on sale in the coming year 2014 and the pricing of the same will be announced closer to launch.
