Hennessey details their tuning program for the Corvette Stingray

Well known tuner Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) has recently released new details about their upcoming tuning program based on the Corvette Stingray.

First there is HPE600 which will have a 6.2-liter V8 engine that has been fitted with a TVS2300 supercharger system, a HPE air induction system and an optimized ECU. Thanks to these modifications, the engine will now be able to generate 600 hp (447 kW).

Moving up to the next model which is HPE700, it adds CNC ported cylinder heads and a custom camshaft. These additional tweaks will boost the engine’s output to 700 hp (522 kW).

Then comes the HPE800 will come fitted with a twin-turbo engine with forged aluminum pistons, a forged steel crankshaft and a custom camshaft. The model will also come with features such as high-flow cylinder heads, an intercooler, a stainless sports exhaust system, a high-performance fuel system and an optimized ECU. With the help of these, the model should be able to generate 800 hp (596 kW).

Lastly there is also HPE1000 that will be similarly equipped but feature output of 1,000 hp (745 kW).

All the above models can also be equipped with a CarbonAero exterior package that includes a front splitter, revised side skirts and a rear spoiler. Customers also have an option to order carbon ceramic brakes, an adjustable suspension and monoblock alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
