2014 Nissan Maxima gets minor upgrades, starts at 31,000 USD

The current generation of the Nissan Maxima has reached 2014 model year with some minor updates.

The model is already on sale and now the 2014 Maxima is offered with a new Limited Edition Package for the 3.5 S model which would come at a price of 750 USD. In this package, you will get features such as xenon smoked headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, compass in the rearview mirror, fog lights, rear spoiler, more metallic trim and exterior mirrors featuring built-in turn signals.

The base 3.5 S model comes with a base price of 31,000 USD including destination charges of 810 USD and the higher 3.5 SV model starts from 34,090 USD which is 850 USD more expensive as compared to the last year. With the price increase you would get additional goodies that include seven-inch QVGA color monitor, RearView Monitor, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, xenon headlights and USB connectivity.

Nissan is also in the process of introducing two additional paint schemes for the 2014 Maxima which are Midnight Garnet and Gun Metallic. Both versions are powered exclusively by a V6 3.5-liter engine that would be generating 290 hp (216 kW) working together with an Xtronic CVT.
