Porsche unveiled the 918 Spyder at the recently concluded Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany and so Theophilus Chin decided to make a rendering of what a 918 Coupe would look like based on the unveiling at the show.
Drawing inspiration from the 918 RSR concept, designer Chin has created a stylish super car that eschews the removable roof for gullwing doors. We can say that the end result is pretty impressive and in fact it seems to suit the car rather well.
As previously reported, the 918 Spyder would come with a 4.6-liter V8 engine that would generate an output of 608 HP (447 kW) and two electric motors that would generate combines 286 HP (210 kW). This setup enables the model to produce a combined maximum output of impressive 887 HP (652 kW) and up to 1,280 Nm (944 lb-ft) of torque. Thanks to this new set up, the car can now accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 2.8 seconds and comes with a top speed of 345 kmph (214 mph).
The rendering looks pretty stylish but we will have to wait for the final version to be out and how far the same would be similar to the rendered image.
