Toyota beats German rivals as most valuable auto brand

In the latest report which reports most valuable brand across the world, Toyota has managed to maintain its position as the world’s most valuable automotive brand beating world class German companies like BMW and Mercedes to take the top spot. However in the list, still the German brands dominate the top 10 with half of them coming from the European country.

According to the report, Toyota’s brand is worth an astounding $ 35.3 billion which also makes it overall 10th most valuable of all brands. This means the company features in the list of top 10 brands of the world across globe and all segments.

Just to let you know who holds the top three positions – Coca-Cola has slipped from top spot down to third and the first and second position has been taken by Apple and Google respectively.

Top 10 automotive brands as per value in the report stated are:
1. Toyota ($ 35.3 billion)
2. Mercedes ($ 31.9 billion)
3. BMW ($ 31.8 billion)
4. Honda ($ 18.4 billion)
5. VW ($ 11.1 billion)
6. Ford ($ 9.1 billion)
7. Hyundai ($ 9.0 billion)
8. Audi ($ 7.7 billion)
9. Porsche ($ 6.4 billion)
10. Nissan ($ 6.2 billion)
