Behold the Nemesis Hypercar from Trion, a Worthy Rival to Bugatti Veyron!

The Bugatti Veyron has been proudly maintaining the predicate as the world’s fastest production cars for quite a while now. However, this is probably about to end for the car now has a worthy rival from America, the land of opportunities. This car is the Nemesis hypercar which is developed by a startup US automaker, the Trion SuperCars. The Nemesis is a beast that holds a fantastically huge amount of power under its hood. Thanks to its 9.0L V8 engine with twin turbochargers, it can reach a top speed beyond 270 mph. If you wonder how much time it needs to go from a standstill to the speed of 60 mph, well, all the car needs is a time window of 2.8 seconds. This definitely beats the Bugatti Veyron, at least the Grand Sport Vitesse variant, and even the Koenigsegg One:1.

The Trion Nemesis achieves its ultra-high speed thanks to its carbon fiber monocogue body that is paired with pushrod suspension mechanism. Trion SuperCars uses the carbon fiber material to build a large number of body panels for the car. This really helps reduce the weight of the car. In addition to that, Trion also takes advantage of active aerodynamics to make the handling capabilities of the car as ideal as possible.

With the Nemesis, customers will receive 6-piston front brake calipers, 4-piston rear brake calipers, carbon ceramic disc brakes, a 4WD drivetrain and a manual 8-speed transmission as standard.

On the exterior, we can see that the Nemesis features a very aerodynamic body shape that looks a bit like the McLaren P1 on the rear end of the car. Yet, as for the interior, buyers of this car get to enjoy a sophisticated digital dashboard that is connected to the internet. The interior is also claimed to be spacious enough to accommodate passengers with a body height of 6’4” in total along with some golf clubs.

Trion is planning to sell 50 examples of the Nemesis, priced at $1 million each. The US automaker is determined to end the domination of European cars in the exotic car market.
