It is true that the American automaker, Chevrolet, has yet to show off its latest Spark vehicle model to the public. Yet, this does not necessarily mean that the public will not know what the car will look like before it actually begins to show itself officially. As a matter of fact, a couple of spy photos that seem to depict the vehicle in question have emerged on the World Wide Web pages just recently.
The vehicle spotted in the spy photos come in a white paint finish. Its front fascia may as well remind car enthusiasts of the Chevrolet Cruze, thanks to the sweptback headlamp design and the dual mesh front grille layout. In addition to that, this allegedly new Spark also comes with a radiator grille and dozens of chrome trims around the fog lamps.
Now, if you remember correctly, it had already been reported before that the new Spark from Chevy would be utilizing the platform used by the Opel Karl. It is also known from the report that the upcoming Spark model will make bow at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show event that is slated for kick-off in this upcoming March. The Karl-based Chevrolet Spark will reportedly greet the customers in the South Korea and Europe. As for customers in Brazil, India and other markets in the world, their version of the Chevy Spark will be based on the Amber platform.
It is believed that the new Chevrolet Spark will also share similar engines with the Opel Karl. That said, it should be coming with a 1.0L 3-cylinder engine, capable of 75 hp of power in total.
