2012 Mercedes ML AMG caught testing around Nürburgring

by Andrew Randall

I have to say that most Mercedes prototypes are very ugly because of the amount of camouflage that Mercedes is normally putting on them. A good example of those ugly prototypes is also this 2012 Mercedes ML AMG which can be seen in the spy photos from this post. You can see that there is a lot of black camouflage on this white car.

People are expecting that this 2012 Mercedes ML AMG to be released with a 3.5 liter V6 engine but also with a 5.5 liter V8 petrol engine and also a 3.0 liter turbo diesel engine. Also, next year, AMG will come with a twin-turbo V8 engine which will develop up to 570hp but which is interesting is that there will also be a hybrid and plug-in hybrid version which will also come next year.

Comparing this 2012 Mercedes ML AMG to the facelifted ML AMG63, it looks lower. Taking a close look at these spy photos, there are some possibilities from this 2012 Mercedes ML AMG to come with large air intake pockets in the front bumper.

Anyway, there is much time left until this 2012 Mercedes ML AMG will be shown at the Frankfurt Auto Show from 2011 and also until it will be released one month later then the auto show.
