California asks Volkswagen diesel car recall

Volkswagen Group will need to recall all of its cars and SUVs with 3-liter diesel motor in California under an order released Wednesday by the state’s air-quality department.

Volkswagen was informed in a letter from the California Air Resources Board that it has 45 days to compile a prepare for the recall of the impacted VW, Audi and Porsche versions to change exhausts gear.
