Sauber are the first Formula 1 team to unveil their brand-new automobile for 2017.

The C36 provides the first indicators of how teams will approach the significant rule modifications introduced this year focused on developing faster, more dramatic cars.

The Swiss team, that ended up 10th of 11 groups last season, have presented a new blue, white and gold livery in addition to the new-look machine.

The automobile will be driven by Swede Marcus Ericsson, who enters his 3rd season with the team, and German Pascal Wehrlein, a Mercedes protege.

Wehrlein is to miss out on the first pre-season test next week due to a neck injury sustained in the Race of Champions event in Miami in January. Ferrari third motorist Antonio Giovinazzi will replace him.
