Alfa Romeo 4C to make dynamic debut at Goodwood

by SpeedLux

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is just around the corner and Alfa Romeo has announced its plans to stage the dynamic debut of the 4C Launch Edition at this annual event.

The limited edition model is set to be showcased during the “First Glance” run and comes exclusively in Alfa Red or Carrara White color and features such as LED headlights, carbon fiber trim, a darkened rear diffuser and 18- / 19-inch alloy wheels. The car is also equipped with a sports exhaust system and a revised suspension that has retuned shock absorbers and a new anti-roll bar.

The changes to the interiors are limited and consist of leather / Alcantara sport seats, an individually-numbered carbon fiber badge and red contrast stitching on models with the Alfa Red exterior.

Under the hood, there is a 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 240 HP (176 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) in just 4.5 seconds and can hit a top speed in excess of 155 mph (250 kmph). It sends power to the rear wheels via a dual-clutch transmission and a limited-slip differential.
