Beginning of the new era with Chevy Corvette
Chevrolet Corvette was first launched back in the year 1953 as concept car. Later it was used in many sports events such as Indianapolis 500 pace car for 12 times in a row. The car went to trough seven generation of upgrades and modification. Back in those times this car was using massive, powerful engine of 4.34 liters V8 engine. As the time passed by, Corvette went through various upgraded like by the year 1956 engine of 4.64 liters was producing maximum power of 283bhp and car was available with power windows along with hydraulic operated convertible top. By the year 1957, Corvette came with heavy duty brakes, four speed manual transmission and so on.
And today
By the year 2014, Chevy Corvette reached seventh-generation upgrade and modification. The new Corvette was completely different and better like nothing other. The exterior design is completely new look as per modern world requirements. It used the massive, powerful engine of 6.2 liters V8 engine producing maximum power of 453bhps. The new car uses same fundamental of rear wheel drive (RWD) with the help of transaxle placed in the rear of the car. The transmission also upgraded as per modern world requirements such as seven-speed manual or six-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Chevy Corvette also made an impact in racing the world with a series of C5.R, C6.R and C7.R variants.
