by SpeedLux

BMW has recently introduced the limited edition BMW M5 Nighthawk version in Japan.

Covered in Frozen Black color, the high performance sedan can be distinguished by features such as a dark chrome grille, adaptive LED headlights and matte black 20-inch alloy wheels. The dual tone interior is very nicely fitted with Merino leather seats, carbon fiber trim and an individually-numbed badge.

The model has also comes well equipped with the Competition Package that features goodies that include sports exhaust system and dedicated settings for the suspension, steering and M Dynamic Mode. Other highlights of the model include carbon-ceramic brakes and a lane departure warning system.

Under the hood, power would be provided by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that will generate 575 HP (423 kW) and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque. It is further mated to a seven-speed M DCT transmission which enables this limited edition model to accelerate from 0-100 kmph (0-62 mph) in just 4.2 seconds.

Since it is a limited edition model, production will be very limited and in fact it would be just ten units that would be made. The pricing for the BMW M5 Nighthawk in Japan starts from ¥18,200,000 (approx $181,800 / £121,740 / €141,470).
