Bugatti Teases the 288mph ‘SuperVeyron’

by SpeedLux

Bugatti has recently released a teaser image of its Bugatti ‘SuperVeyron’ by posting it on the company’s official facebook page. The company has also stated along with the image, “The stage is set. It’s almost time for us to share the latest example of exceptional Bugatti performance, simply keep a close eye on Facebook over the next few days.”

No further details have been disclosed by the company as of now. However, one thing is for sure that the super car would be among the fastest ever made by Bugatti and if the rumors are to be believed, it will be called as SuperVeyron.

As per the rumors, the super car may come with either an uprated 8.0-liter V16 engine or a new 9.6-liter W16 engine and the output capacity would be around 1,600 hp. With such powerhouse, the super car would be able to accelerate to 62 mph in less than 2 seconds and will have a top speed of 288 mph.

If the rumors are to be believed, the to-be-launched Bugatti SuperVeyron will become the world’s fastest production car and that is some good news for the company as recently, its predecessor, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport was stripped of that title by the Guinness Books of World Records.
