Callaway has recently introduced their new Corvette SC610.
Based on the Corvette Stingray, the SC610 comes fitted with features that include a carbon fiber hood, Callaway-branded door sill plates and a unique dash plaque.
Major changes can be seen in terms of power under the hood as the 6.2-liter V8 engine has been equipped with an Eaton supercharger, an intercooler, a high-flow intake and a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Thanks to the modifications, the engine will now be able to generate an output of 610 hp (454 kW) and 556 lb-ft (752 Nm) of torque which is a significant increase of 155 hp (115 kW) and 96 lb-ft (130 Nm) of torque.
When connected to a six-speed automatic transmission, the model will reportedly be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 kmph) in just 3.4 seconds and will be able to run the quarter mile in a time of just 11 seconds.
Well the speed lovers will certainly be happy with the changes in the performance department of the car and hope that the same is able to deliver to what it has been aimed for.
