Car crashes into side of Tesco supermarket in Piccadilly Circus

A driver was fortunate to escape without severe injury when their automobile smashed into the side of a store in Piccadilly Circus recently on 24 August.

The red Nissan struck a wall just inches far from the main entrance to the Tesco Metro shop in Regent Street.

Although the vehicle was severely damaged, the driver left without being seriously hurt, authorities said.

There was likewise only very little issue to the wall, and the grocery store was able to open as normal today.

A Met Police spokesperson stated cops had been contacted to outside the Lower Regent Street shop at 3.20 morning.

He included that no one had been seriously injured in the smash, however one individual had been taken to healthcare facility with injuries that he referred to as “not life-changing or life-threatening”.

The spokesperson stated it was not immediately clear whether any arrests had been made.
