Troopers found lots of things that could easily result in reckless driving

Florida Highway Patrol troopers state they discovered jello shots, beer and an open bottle of Tito’s vodka in the trunk of a car they pulled over driving at 107 mph on Interstate 75 on New Year’s Day.

Troopers stated they pulled over the car driven by 22-year-old April Moyer right after 1:30 a.m. on January 1 as she was going north on I-275 in Pinellas County. Troopers state she was going 107 mph in a zone that allowed no more than 65 mph.

Troopers stated Moyer revealed signs of driving under the influence including bloodshot, glassy eyes and poor balance. She scored poorly on field sobriety tests, they stated.

Moyer has been arrested for DUI.
