Composite Worx Lotus Extrema

by SpeedLux

Recently an Italian car company Composite Worx, have worked on Lotus Exige-based Extrema. They normally produce bespoke seats for exclusive cars, but it seems that their latest project is on a bigger scale.

The car you see in the photos is apparently based on the Lotus Exige. Composite Worx will build the car, named the Extrema, and fit a 513bhp LS7 V8 engine lifted from the Chevrolet Corvette. the unit produces 649 hp (484 kW). while the curb weight of the vehicle is just 970 kg (2138 lbs), and the Extrema is able to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in only 2.9 seconds and needs 7 seconds from 0 to 100 mph (161 km/h) on its way to a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h), all thanks to the vehicle’s carbon fiber body and SP-1 twin skin full carbon seats, which helps the car to zoom away this way.

Take a look at the images and stay tuned for more updates.
