Corvette Carlisle Blue Grand Sport Concept Preparing for SEMA

by Zack Colt

Of course there will be lots of awesome cars at this year’s SEMA event, not only from Chevrolet, but from many other automakers, but there are going to be few stars. But among these stars there will deffinitely be the Corvette Carlisle Blue Grand Sport Concept.

This special edition was created to celebrate 30 years of “Corvettes at Carlisle” events , which is one the most important events that feature gatherings of Chevrolet Corvettes in history, reason for which the company hasn’t just come up with something really sporty kind of sexy looking, but with something in return for the fans as well.

Talking about the looks of the car, department which is very important at SEMA, it has a Carlisle Blue exterior that’s teamed with some rather discrete Pearl White racing stripes and some special silver painted alloys. On the inside, the majority of the features come from Genuine Corvette Accessory catalog and some new tunes, like a Bose Premium Audio that comes with nine speakers, USB, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity together with a touch screen.

Unfortunately, even though lots of modifications were made concerning the design of the car, none was made at the performance, which makes me feel like this car is rather incomplete, but hey. Who am I to judge?
