Do I need a Car Accident Attorney?

Car accident

It can be easy to just go ahead and file a claim on one’s own when in a car accident. It is easier to do so and in most cases it is best. Attorneys are expensive and involved. It can become tiresome and one should really understand whether an attorney is necessary before jumping into a contract with one and involving more financial burdens and potential time-consuming meetings. There are times when a car accident attorney is beneficial though. There are specific circumstances to recognize and take into account when making the decision to hire one.

The person was just simply turning at a red light when another car came out of nowhere and did not even think to consider that another car may be turning on red. Because his light was green he just switched into the other lane without looking, ramming right into the car that had just been turning right after looking thoroughly both ways before even considering moving forward with the right on red decision. As he nonchalantly looked the other direction as he began his turn the other person too was quickly getting into the right lane while looking down at a text message. Then it happened. The accident ended up causing a lot of damage to both cars and surprisingly, it was more critical of an accident than would have originally been expected with such a hit. The car turning was hit on the driver’s side causing injury to the individual that turned right on red. Although it was not critical, it was extremely painful and he was rushed to the emergency room.

It is hard to be clear whose fault this accident was as an onlooker just coming by after the accident happened. Because the person was taking a right on red, he should have been more cautious. But of course, the other driver is not going to come out and admit that he was looking down at a text message and missed the fact that there was some one turning into the right lane when he merged into it. Therefore, the battle for fault is unclear to the outsider trying to determine it. Because in this case the injuries were not minor and the medical bills will likely be costly, it can be good to consider that this costly event will need some clarity in order to assist with such bills and injury trouble that goes along with the implications of such an accident.

Both of these parties could easily move forward without an attorney, but here are some reasons why hiring an attorney would be beneficial in this particular instance:

  1. The fault is unknown and no one is willing to admit it.
  2. There is high expense for costs of repair and medical expenses that will be out of pocket.
  3. There is a court case for this particular claim.
  4. The recovery from the injury is lengthy and will affect work and quality of life for an extended period of time.
  5. The amount of time, maybe five or ten hours, will be worth it to the victim as it will result in a lot of assistance in the long run.

Therefore, one can clearly see that this is a perfect case to consider an attorney in this specific instance. While the average car accident does not require an attorney because it would be unnecessary, certain ones will benefit grateful from such assistance. Because of the five above points are evident in this particular case, one has great grounds to benefit from an attorney. Because the party was injured and fault is not being admitted, it is a perfect example. It is unfortunate when the other party will not do his or her part to refrain from the need for an attorney by being cooperative, admitting fault, and working with insurance to get this straightened out, but unfortunately that is not always the case. It is fortunate that people that are being treated unjustly do have the option to consider assistance through legal means. This makes it possible for justice to be the first and foremost. This should be primary, especially when a lot is at stake. Someone’s health, bills, and repair that is beyond what an insurance company will cover is a lot of pressure and burden and should be dealt with appropriately. Consider these five instances when determining whether an attorney, such as that of Kraft & Associates, is necessary.
