Dodge Releases More Details On 2018 Challenger Demon SRT

Fiat Chrysler provided more details on the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, which is to debut in early April at the 2017 New York Auto Show.

FCA explained in a press release the Satanic force SRT as Dodge’s “new ultimate performance halo,” vehicle. It will include special Demon-branded Nitto NT05R drag radials, which will be 315mm broad at all 4 corners and wrapped around brand-new lightweight 18-inch wheels. The tires, which were designed and established exclusively for the car, will make the Demon the first-ever production vehicle provided with drag radials.

Dodge also validated the Demon will feature integrated fender flares that will include 3.5-inches in width on each side. The carmaker states the combination of the additional broad wheels, prominent drag radials and incorporated fender flares will offer the vehicle “an intimidating, purposeful stance,” and we ‘d need to concur.

FCA has been slowly providing details on the Demon over the last few weeks. In the first release, the automaker confirmed it would be based the Challenger Hellcat however would be a lot more extreme. A second teaser video revealed the car would undergo a weight decrease process, with rumors suggesting the Demon will weigh around 200 lbs lower than the Hellcat.
