Driver killed after hitting car and utility pole in Fayetteville

One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident that saw one car hitting a utility pole in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Friday night.

Fayetteville police responded to the incident just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Raeford Road and Ireland Drive. The driver of the vehicle that hit the utility pole has not been identified for now.

Officials did not provide the status of the passengers of the other vehicle.

Drivers are asked to refrain from using Raeford Road between Ireland Drive and Montclair Road as the investigation is being conducted.

Anyone with details related to the incident is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at(910) 751-382.
