Dubai Police Receive a Lexus RC F

by SpeedLux

You really should not play cat and mouse with the police in Dubai. If you insist on doing so, you will most likely be caught in no time at all. Thing is, the police in the aforementioned Saudi Arabian city has more than enough supercars in their fleet that your vehicle will never seem to outrun. Well, unless, of course, you are driving such a car as the Ferrari LaFerrari, the recently launched 488 GTB, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport or the likes. Now, the police in Dubai have even received another supercar addition to their fleet, this time the Lexus RC F.

The vehicle in question comes with a white and green police livery in addition to a typical police light bar on top of it. According to the Dubai police department, the vehicle will be in charge of patrolling tourist destinations that are considered to be of high importance in the city.

In case you are not aware, the Lexus RC F from the luxury division under the Japanese automaker, Toyota, boasts a total power output of 467 bhp and a total torque of 526 Nm. Such a huge power and torque come from the vehicle’s 5.0L V8 engine sitting beneath its engine bay.

Featuring an automated 8-speed gearbox, this high performance Japanese sports coupe needs just 4.4 seconds to go from a complete standstill to the speed of 100 km/h. Its top speed is limited electronically at 273 km/h. As pointed out by the Dubai Police to the Motorward, this vehicle is more than powerful enough to tackle a quarter mile run within a mere 12.5 seconds.

So, do you still really think that you can actually outrun the police in Dubai?
