Following the official images released last week, Eterniti Hemera, one of the most extotic SUVs, made its world debut at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show and here are the first live images from the event.
According to the manufacturer, Eterniti Hemera will be part of a new niche that will provide new levels of luxury, space and performance through features that include a vented engine bonnet, a rear roof spoiler and muscular wheel arches. The body of the car shown at Frankfurt closely reflects the final production version, although that will have bespoke Eterniti LED headlamps and lenses. All panels are new and made of carbon composite.
In addition to that comes a limousine-like rear cabin with reclining seats, equipment that includes iPads and even a refrigerator plus dynamic performance combined with the ruggedness of a 4×4.
The Hemera will be based on the most dynamic version of VW Group’s latest-generation large SUV platform, the best in the industry. At Eterniti it will undergo a complete chassis-up rebuild, including a new, re-packaged interior, and the light-weight carbon-composite re-skin. It will also have additional engine performance, with the 4.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing over 620bhp for a top speed in excess of 180mph.
The British manufacturer, Eterniti Motors says it will begin production of the Hemera in early 2012, and customers can expect to take delivery by the summer. As for the pricing, those customers will need to shell out £150,000, or nearly $240,000. That price includes the three-year warranty, and a “flying doctor” service to pick up and return the car when needed.
