Ferrari Confirms Launch for January 30

by SpeedLux

The Italian automaker, Ferrari, has made an official announcement that hints at the launch of its new vehicle. The company in question suggests that it is to launch its new vehicle model come January 30, 2015. Well, it seems that the Maranello-based car manufacturer does not want to lose momentum to the British automaker, McLaren, which will reportedly announce a new vehicle model as well come January 29, 2015.

Just as a kind reminder, McLaren is set to launch its new MP4-30 near the end of January 2015, on the 29th to be exact. The vehicle will gain its power from an engine manufactured by Honda. Hearing that McLaren will be introducing a new vehicle on that date, the prancing horse team from Italy immediately gives out an online presentation that it will take the veil off a new car either a day later or even earlier than the British automotive brand mentioned before.

The announcement was made by the Maranello team late last Friday, January 9, 2015. On that day, the company announced that it would launch the new mystery car on its official website besides a number of digital and social platforms.

Up to this very second, no one has yet to figure out what moniker that the new vehicle from Ferrari will bring. So far, the company is only referring to the new car model with the codename ‘666’. Wow, this is rather ironic since that codename most often represent evil or devil.

Speaking of its mysterious 666 car, the Italian automaker mentions that it will use the car during the first test sessions in winter. The tests will be organized at the Jerez de la Frontera track. The tests are scheduled to run from February 1-4, 2015.
