Five people were killed and several were injured following a rollover crash along State Highway 288 on Saturday night in Pearland, Texas.
It was about 7:28 p.m. when officers responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 14700 block of State Highway 288 southbound Frontage Road.
Two cars were going southbound from Beltway 8 to Shadow Creek Parkway when a vehicle struck another car, causing it to roll over and eject four of the five occupants.
Three of the five passengers were pronounced dead at the scene.
The fourth and fifth passengers were admitted to the hospital.
The fourth passenger succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
The fifth passenger is being treated for injuries.
The driver of the red vehicle succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
Two juvenile passengers of the red vehicle were hospitalized.
