Five women were killed in a crash between a truck and a car in the Western Cape.
The crash took place at around 15:00 on Thursday, between a Toyota Yaris and a truck on R60 between Worcester and Robertson.
The initial investigations showed the crash took place when the driver of the Toyota made a u-turn in front of the truck, resulting in a crash with the Toyota.
The five occupants of the Toyota were pronounced dead at the scene.
Five women, aged between 21 and 24, were fatally injured.
Two men, aged 25 and 30, were injured and were admitted to a nearby medical facility.
